Sometimes life can be funny and interesting. This month’s training flight took place just outside Pigeon Forge, TN. At no point earlier this month did I think I would be flying near the Smoky Mountains. This may be one of the more expensive training flights this year. Earlier this year, we decided to replace the original hardwood floors in our house. Thinking the process would be relative quick and simple, we made the decision to stay in the house while they replaced our floors. That quickly changed once we got going with the flooring install. As with any job, nothing went the way we planned. The contractor had to do some floor corrections to level off the subfloor for the installation and after some talking we decided it would be best to have Calem stay out of the house while all of this was being done. Next thing we knew, we were on a mini-vacation to Tennessee. Let the good time roll along with our $$. So to make the best of the trip, I ended up waking up early on Sunday morning and was not able to get back to sleep. So I decided to go catch the sunrise and get some flight time in for Drone Assist Indiana. As you can see in the pictures, it was a beautiful opportunity to enjoy the calm Tennessee morning.
